Any restrictions on the unspent mana aren't copied. For example, if you have colorless mana white mana white mana black mana with no restrictions on it and blue mana blue mana blue mana that can be used only to cast artifact spells, you'll end up with colorless mana colorless mana white mana white mana white mana white mana black mana black mana , blue mana blue mana blue mana that can be used only to cast artifact spells, and blue mana blue mana blue mana that can be used for anything.
